Haven House Cafe has such a warm and comforting feel that it instantly softens your day. The staff greet you with genuine kindness and the drinks taste like they were made with real care. It is the kind of place where you can settle in without feeling rushed, and the whole experience leaves you feeling quietly grateful for the pause it gives you.

Awesome coffee shop! It was on my to do list for a bike to and grab a coffee destination and it didn’t disappoint! My cycling companion also enjoyed it. Had a latte and a Jamaican patty. Excellent! The shop has a lot of cool retro stuff to look at and arts and crafts items also. Music wasn’t blaring so it was very chill and relaxing. Staff were super friendly and even filled our water bottles up when we were on our way. Highly recommend and will be back to try out other items on the menu.👍🏻

THIS is where you want to go!! As the owner of a high-volume, craft coffee shop in Texas, I have an extra measure of authority to say that Haven House Cafe is absolutely TOP Notch everything they do!!! The food and drink were amazing, but the service was professional, friendly, and just the perfect welcoming environment! I had my 4 kids with me, and they were able to play in the little kids area while I enjoyed my coffee and breakfast. Lan is amazing, and we need to support hard-working small business owners who have perfected their craft... she and her beautiful coffee shop are it!! Go see her and tell your friends!

This cafe is a hidden gem! We’ve walked and biked in Nose Hill quite a bit, but had never been into Haven House before this week. We tried their famous Haven-ahh latte, a Montreal smoked meat sandwich, grilled jalapeno cheddar spolumbo sausage (add the marinara!) and chicken Thai soup. All were super tasty, and would definitely order again! The cafe is also really cozy, with a small couch and different seating options. We visited during the holiday season and their Christmas decorations were awesome! There’s a small artisan market in the back, which is neat. Plus they even have some kids toys if you want to entertain your little ones. Great staff, fast service and love the location right by Nose Hill + Egert’s Park. Already recommended this place to some friends who live nearby and we’ll definitely be back!

We are always up for trying local coffee shops, so stopped here for a quick cappuccino. I was pleasantly surprised how warm and inviting the place was, that's before the owners started up a conversation. They are such amazing people, who actually care for everyone that stops by their coffee shop. All the stuff we tried were delicious. Stop by the Haven House Cafe to check out this hidden gem.

Such a homey cafe with vintage decor and cozy seating! We're so glad we found it. Cheap drinks and absolutely delicious and flavourful. They were busy when we walked in, but we still felt taken care of. They even gave us a free biscoff cookie. Highly highly suggest the Spanish latte; very good cappuccinos too! They sell some paintings, crochet toys, cards, and self care things too. They also have a cute kids corner that my neices enjoyed so much.

This an amazing local, neighbourhood, hidden gem! In-house baked goods, yummy drinks, welcoming to all, fun and quirky! Food and drinks: Wide variety of baked goods, food, treats and drinks. I really think there’s something for everyone here. My favourite is the Haven-ahh latte, unique and one of a kind, and now I’m slightly addicted to it. I’ve tried a decent variety of their baked goods, and all of it has been tasty and hits the spot. But I’m especially excited about the pepperoni cheesestick, it’s one of the last/only place that serves this. Service: the owner, Lan, is super friendly, authentic, passionate, and fun. She is what draws in the regulars, most of whom she’s on first name basis. Service is attentive and personable. Atmosphere: a wide variety of seating, and decent amount of natural light. Great for a couple of hours for working, reading, catching up with friends, date with your kid. Yes, it’s kid-friendly and there’s a kid corner. Decor is eclectic, fun, welcoming and fitting. Value: very reasonable for the quality and quantity you get. One of my favourite local businesses to support!

This place has a wonderful atmosphere and tasty matcha and yummy sandwiches. They put a lot of effort to decorate this cozy place and they play lofi here. I also appreciate the kindest attitude to all the best friends in the neighborhood 🤗 I love this place and recommend to visit it at least once in your lifetime , even if you are not from this area.

One of my new favorite cafes I've stumbled upon! Eclectic interior featuring retro decor and a small local market section adds to the charm of this local business but what really stood out was their incredible service, solid drinks, and delicious Montreal smoked sandwich (our first time trying it so we don't really have anything to compare it to but trust that it tasted GOOD). Don't skip out on this place!
